family accomodation in Paris region

I am looking for an affordable family accomodation (2 grown-ups, 3
children between 6 and 8 years old) in the larger Parisian region,
preferrably Yvelines, Essone, Hauts-de-Seine.
Since we're on our way back from visiting les châtaux de la Loire to
Germany where we live, we want to show the kids Paris, VErsailles etc.
We plan a stay from 2 or 3 days up to a week, so booking on a daily
basis would be great.
All I've seen on the net so far is horribly expensive (600 EUR per
week).
Any hints?
Thanks

I stayed in a one bedroom, Rue de Serouf (7th) at 90e per night, for 5
nights. 600e per week for short term is not expensive IIRC.
Clean, self-catering. The original booking was cancelled by the owner
but the replacement was better than the one we booked.
We booked through Parissimo.

Err - what'd I say?
I couldn't give a stuff whether you posted it sideways, but I did
assist the guy you're trying to help by separating your excellent
links into usable ones.
