Grant Allen's Historical Guides ,The UMbrian Towns, by JW and AM
Cruickshank 1901 ,damp stain to front cover,lovelyold pictorial
bookplate inside of front board,otherwise VGC. 399 pages.
Georgeous old guide book to the towns of Umbria,perfect companion to
explore the area with! Concentrates mostly on the art and architecture
of the towns.

That would come in very handy for visiting places like Terni, Umbertide and
Foligno, amongst other places. They were bombed to the edge of obliteration
during WW2. Not much art and architecture left there.
