The euro currency fell sharply to USD 1.2370 on Monday, the lowest
level in seven months. The euro is under pressure as a result of the
various national referendums in Europe over the union's Constitution.
The euro has fallen by 4 percent in the past month and following the
French 'no vote' against the constitution on Sunday, concerns have
risen that European unification will be delayed. Reforms that many
investors think are needed to stimulate the European economy might not
be implemented. Moreover, the fall of the euro is also due to European
economic growth lagging behind that of the US and Asia, leading to
reduced attractiveness of the joint
currency."

What is all the fuss about? It is only making a trend against the $US.
Against the (what can be considered neutral-ish) Pound is it on a mere
transient.
