Default Driving Brussels - Liechtenstein-Paris

I have nine days in June and would like to to some of western Europe.
Specificly driving from Brussels through Germany - Leichtenstein and
back to Brussels or Paris. Any thoughts on this.
Who should I rent a car from? B&Bs?

Bill,

Consider shortening your travels. After Brussels and maybe Antwerp or
Brugge, try Duesseldorf and/or Koln in Germany, then on to Paris. You
might also think about skipping Germany and just working the Amsterdam,
Brussels, Paris corridor. Check out my site for further helpful tips.

Use the trains rather than rent a car.

If you rent, consider Autoeurope

If you rent a car, drive and stay in the countryside, If you are going
to cities, forget the car, and take the trains. A tourist car in
Paris/Brussels is avery expensive pain.

chartiable donation.

Why do you have to state the obvious? The man qualifies for some privacy,
doesn't he? Don't the tax folks read these newsgroups?

I had no intention of insulting anybody, I simply was in a good mood. BUT I really meant what I
wrote: if you are going through all the trouble of driving from Belgium to Liechtenstein, it would
be interesting to know: is it for business or pleasure or simply to have been there. If it was for
the latter reason, then I would have a number of worthwile visits or alternatives. Liechtenstein is
very small, mountaineous and an expensive place. But its landscape has its charms and it can
be a great place for a restful and safe family vacation away from pollution and stress, for walks
in the mountains. good food, day excursions to nearby Austria and Switzerland (the famous
open-air Bregenz summer festival, a swim in the clear waters of the lake of Constance, the
Appenzell region (love the cheese), or the Bavarian Allgäu in S. Germany (for the beer).
Public transportation in this part of the world is excellent and no need to drive a car (buses are
free of charge in Liechtenstein).

Geez people. I just wanted to go to Leichtenstein. When I was younger
I had a serios Leichtenstein fetish. I knew everything about the
place. I even called random phone numbers to talk to people there.
Hey, I was young. You would be surpirised how friendly people were 20
years ago when some crazy American called them out of the blue.

Anyway, my wife has had her say in the vacation for this year and it
looks like we are doing the safe trip of Western Ireland. Last year we
did Eastern Ireland, Northern, Edinburgh, London and Paris in 16 days.
This year it will be visiting friends in Belfast and South Armagh
(Bandit Country) and a Sligo - Dingle run back to Belfast.

Looks like Vaduz will have to wait another year.

Bill, I am sure that Liechtenstein would have been just as safe as Ireland and Britain, but I know
what you mean. I love Ireland as well.

So *are* there any public toilets in Leichtenstein ? :-)

Seriously as an expert what would you say were the 5 most interesting things
about Leichtenstein ?
