Following up to irwell

My first roped together climbing experience was as a 16 year old
on Middlefell Buttress in the Langdale Valley, circa 1942!
Strand Palace more in our budget than the Savoy, though we
did have a look in the foyer of the Savoy last year.

My first roped together climbing experience was as a 16 year old
on Middlefell Buttress in the Langdale Valley, circa 1942!
Strand Palace more in our budget than the Savoy, though we
did have a look in the foyer of the Savoy last year.

I bet there were no belays as convenient as a lamppost
