Default Diano Marino/Nice/San Remo

Were flying to Nice next Sunday and driving to Diano Marina from there. Does
anyone have any experience from Diano Marina. I am very interested about the
railway connections in there. It's only 60 km to Monaco, 90 km to Nice and
San Remo is also nearby. It would be nice to know is it possible or easy to
travel to those locations. I am also interested about the prices in there.
Is it possible to eat without falling into bankrupsy.

P.S I know that F1 race was in Monaco a week ago. Tickets were so expensive
that we decided to skip it.

It is very easy to travel the coast by train to the border transfer in
Ventimiglia on to Nice, and points in between--and it's a pretty ride. Just
print out schedules ahead of time, since trains go about hourly from Diano
Marina. You can look up schedules here:

This message doesn't contain the practical the information you're
looking for; however, you might want to read EXTRA VIRGIN by Annie Hawes
before or while you're in Diano Marina. This is a charming and
fascinating non-fiction account of two British sisters' experiences
buying a house in Diano San Pietro and getting integrated into the
community. The resort of Diano Marina plays a prominent role in the book.

I assume you're referring to Annie Hawes, but I sure wish I qualified
for that label.

easy, just sell up and move to another country, then write a book about
your experiences.
