I wish I could remember the name of the dessert answering that
description which was once served to me.

In Bruges I saw chocolates shaped like breasts. Many skin tones. ;)

When I was in my teens I read a book by Aldous Huxley that mentioned
a place in Belgium where, for one festival day a year, they make
chocolates shaped like chamber pots. Anyone know where, or remember
which of Huxley's books this is in?

Whaaaa...???

Yeah, fair balls to yer on that one. It's certainly the impression it
gives. Actually, I do corporate consultants of sorts, and thus spend
most of my days in a suit, and stay in expensive hotels. Thats my
other personality though, and he doesn't come round these parts much.

And yeah, I love high mountains. I love bizarre places with things I
cannot find elsewhere, and I like a pub with a dirty floor. I'm kinda
simple in that way!

Interesting. I took that one in Cisternino, in Puglia. Is she a saint
from the south?

Yeah, that's what the underrated thing is about. It's got a lot of
appeal, has Poland. I found it really easy to click with the locals in
that place.

That was taken in Greece, and was quite a lucky shot made by my ex-gf.

Want to fix Church of Spilled Blood, to Church on the Spilled Blood too? It
gets its name from having been built over the blood-stained cobbles where
one of the Tzars was assassinated.

This is Saint Agatha, martyred in Catania, patron saint of (among others)
vulcanologists (lived near Etna and invoked to defend Catania from an
eruption), pastry cooks and bellfounders.

IIRC, Lampedusa refers in "Il Gattopardo" to cakes called (in plural)
"delizie della santa" because of their ersemblance to S. Agatha's mammary
protuberances.

From Syracuse, in Sicily. Her relics are venerated in Venice, in a church
just a few yards down the canal from the station, named after her, or (more
accurately) after the church in which she used to reside until it was
knocked down to make room for the station. Some years ago, she was kidnapped
at gunpoint - an incident mentioned in a BBC Italian language course which
included an interview with the parish priest.

And while you're at it, maybe this one too:

"this is some red cathedral at the other end of Red Square"

It's the historical museum.
