Counter Demonstration
 

Anybody from Jersey going to the city for the counter demnonstartion let me
know. We are going in by train. We can all hook up and head over to the UN by
12. Bring your US flag. You can be sure OUR side will be the only one with
them.

You're getting boring with your flag
Instead of demonstrating, enroll in the army and leave us alone

Jersey has a train system? I thought it was a small island off the coast
of France

I'm sure there are subways in Jersey, but no underground. Incidentally,
there's a rail system on the Isle of Wight which uses London Underground
vehicles. Prolly the rail system closest to Jersey.

He's right, although I thought it was called the Green Lanes system rather
than the PATH - maybe that's what the locals call it. Wouldn't have
described St Helier as a city though.

I've been to Jersey. Indeed it's a nice green island but there's no
underground and the railways closed more than 50 years ago. Indeed, as
already said there's a "subway" in the form of an underground footpassage.
The big city is no doubt St.Helier.
I guess we are still at "rec.travel.europe" right ?
