Default Colder, off and on snow in Paris

The Parisian temperatures have remained near 0 for two weeks now
and snow arrived, a little bit today. The rest of this week will
be colder.

Even so, it has not been freezing in our quartier, the water in the
gutters have yet to form any ice this winter. Still it should be
warming up, we are approaching March.

Does it change the weather in march? I'm planning my first visit to paris,
and I'm little afraid about rain and snow.

Luis.

ACNielsen probeert achter omzetcijfers Dirk te komen
Uitgegeven: 22 februari 2005 16:47

Last year in March it stayed well above freezing for us but we had
significant rain.

Very uncommon to have snow in Paris in march. Whenever there is some
snow in Paris, it rarely lasts more than a week. As for rain, it is
very possible that you'll get some rain in march but it's okay. Just
manage to get an umbrella and there you go.

Yes. And it is our day to go to prison, at Fresnes south of Paris
by only 10-15 km. We usually drive out there but we might take
the bus today, if that is running.

By the way, the streets in Paris are currently nearly empty. The snow
is staying in the streets, meaning they are cold enough to retain it,
and getting slippery.

Radio talks about lots of congestions around Paris. Today, I would
avoid car like the pleague if I could but on the other hands, some of
my colleagues semm proud to have spent 2 hours on snowy roads this
morning. Go figure.
