Default Cheapest way to get to Reykjavik

Hi all,

I'm in the UK and I'm looking for the cheapest way to get to Reykjavik
- any suggestions? I'm 16 years old, so on some services I may be eligible for a
discount...what about ferries or other boats from Scotland maybe? Anyone know if
there are services run? And if so where I could find out information? Also, what's
the cheapest airline for flights to Keflavik, the international Icelandic airport?

Many, many thanks in advance for all your kind advice!

Take care all and happy and safe travelling,

James.

Do a search with sta-travel if you're in the UK. They have discounted tickets for
students and youth

http://www.sta-travel.com/

have a nice one!

I think that Mr O'Leary is soon to start a service to "Rekjavik South". (Aberdeen).

Hi James Without wishing to sound patronising, have you checked with a travel agent?
You can find package tour airlines with flights to Iceland. Good luck Tom

James: Go used to fly to there from London, but sadly no longer it seems. Their
flights were pretty good value. One point to consider - if you're travelling alone,
you may need written permission from your parents to leave the UK or Iceland, as
you're under 18. Not sure if this is the case but best to check with the UK Passport
Agency and the Icelandic Embassy..

Hey Tom,

First of all thanks to everyone for your advice, I much appreciate it! You've all
been a great help. Well Tom, yes I have checked with a travel agent, but I'm actually
emigrating to RVK so I just wanna get there the cheapest way humanly possible!

James.
