Probably quite a lot- but it doesn't affect me.

No.

No. The train is actually just as fast to this supermarket, and it's
just a few minutes from the station. (Wilmslow.)

For having to shop in specialist shops because you can't get quality stuff in a
supermarket and having to pay through the nose for the privilege.

Only that you waste time having to go to specialist shops.

You can get it in any supermarket- you get it in Aldi and Lidl FFS. Do
you actually look in UK supermarkets when you're here? I'm seriously
beginning to doubt it. Specialist shops? That's a laugh.

Indeed. That extra income from my parking spot buys several nice
restaurant meals a month!

I'd love to see the figures, Martin. I'm sure all that Dutch ham ends
up at supermarket white brands.

There are two basic cathegories of these cold prepared meats (is there
a generic name for that in English? I mean including ham, mortadella,
chorizo, etc.) what you feed the kids with between breakfast and lunch
and between lunch and dinner (mostly "york" ham, mortadella, chorizo,
etc.) and what adult people have right before or right after lunch/
dinner (jamon, good chorizo, etc.).

That's the old Dalesman's Litany......Hull had the pressgang and
Halifax didn't hang people, but used a 'gibbet', a prototype
