Default Car Rental in London, England

Wondering if anyone has used Holiday Autos or Travellersweb.com to
rent cars in England? They both seem to have the best price, but I am
concerned about their reputation as I do not know anything about them.
Has anyone from Canada used them? Any advice on car rentals would be
greatly appreciated. We are picking up and dropping off at London
Heathrow.

Holiday Autos are a well established firm. I've never used them, but I've
heard nothing bad from people who have.

As another poster said, Holiday Autos are fine. Generally, you book your
rental with them but actually get the car at one of the major agencies
(Hertz, Avis, Budget, etc...). You should also compare prices at
www.mastercarsdirect.com who I have found good rates with in the past.

Advice: most cars rented in Europe have manual transmission (the merkins
call it "stick shift", maybe you do too). If you're not familiar or
comfortable with driving a manual car, make very sure you reserve an
automatic (which will cost you more).

At LHR, you will most likely have to take a free shuttle bus to the rental
car lot. It's no problem and doesn't usually take that long, but be aware
that that's the deal.

Oh yes.. drive on the LEFT!
