Default Bistro/small restaurant near Bruxelles Midi station

Does anyone have a personal recommendation for a small restaurant/Bistro
near Brussels Midi Station for lunch between trains (on a weekday)? (As far
as I remember there is no "good" place for lunch on the station).

Needs to be close enough to drag luggage along and back - say not more than
300 metres.

They did have a place to leave your luggage(about a year ago).
Unencumbered, it is a nice walk to the town, which should expand your
choices considerably.

La Panera, Blvd. du Midi, 95

I've heard the food is good from Spanish friends. It's a Spanish
restaurant.

Otherwise you can get ribs and at frites at the greek place,
Au Bonne Coeur on De Merodestrat (don't remember the number about 2-3
blocks from the station)

Why don't you put your bags in the luggage holding place?

There are Greek places even closer to the station, on the Rue de Russie, if
I remember correctly. Not fantastic, but quick, cheap lunch fare. There is
also Athenes, on the Rue de l'Argonne which has been recommended a few
times.

They have rebuilt quite a lot in the last ten years or so to make room
for the Eurostar terminal. All that crosses my mind is that there is a
row of cafes directly opposite the station, some scruffier than others.
That's all that is really close.
