Barcelona - how to get discount hotel fare?
Looking at Astoria Hotel and Hotel Inglaterra in Barcelona.
Google turns up lots of hotel discounters, but the sites I've checked
are not worthwhile.
Any recommendations?

check http://www.barcelona-on-line.es/ it will find hotels with proces you
noticed. Possibilities to check even a few days before ut travel. It helped
me when i had to go to barcelona last summer, it found an hotel with price i
noticed (45 Euros max).

I agree with your recommendation. The reason I hadn't responded so far is
because my interpretation of the post was that the poster had already
decided on those 2 hotels and was finding a way to get discount rates.
AFAIK, those 2 hotels are 4 or 5 stars and each night will set up back at
least 150 Euros. As for less expensive hotels, I can personally recommend
Hotel Continental La Rambla www.hotelcontinental.com and Hotel Turin
www.hotelturin.com.

I was looking for (1) discounts at one of these hotels, or (2)
alternatives.
Barcelona Online is a good site, and I'll check out the other hotels.
