A B class hotel close to metro and city center for 50euro sgl, 60euro dbl
B/B (american buffet)
Lunch or diner for 15euro per person.

Hi.
If you're coming from a country where an average price hotel is around $150
per night, you will love Greece. Personally, I'd recomment the Electra
Palace right in the middle of the Plaka. That's the absolute best location
in Athens. Or, you can see a really fun review of it at:
http://www.greecetravel.com/hotels/electrapalace/ Somewhere under $150,
but not much. Look it up in Frommer's or Fodors. A rooftop pool and right
in the middle of all the action and sights, but quiet. Be very wary of
staying on Syntagma Square, as it's pretty noisy. Plus, you can walk there
in 5 minutes from the Plaka anyhow..

I just returned from Athens. I understand the Electra Palace Hotel is =
closed for renovations. I stayed at the Royal Olympic which I would =
