Default Asian-American travelers in Europe & SARS

I'd like to hear from Asian-Americans who have been in Europe in the last
month or so. Which countries did you go to, and how were you treated? Were
you treated any different from how you would normally be treated, because
people thought you might have had SARS?

I just travelled with a "real" Asian (Hong Kong Chinese) friend from
Amsterdam via Germany to Switzerland and Italy, and back via Switzerland,
France, Luxembourg and Belgium to Amsterdam, and nobody ever mentioned SARS.
We were treated just totally normally.

not a problem at all. in fact i was sick (allergic to rome air) and
was coughing a lot. people did not even take a second look. in
hotel, i told the hotel people that i was coughing because of sars,
they were laughing hard at the joke.

We are scheduled for a river boat cruise with some friends from HK and
Shanghai. The cruise company has now asked them not to go, with a full
refund.

Please. That is no joke at all. Businesses have closed or at least suffer
huge loses just based on the mere rumor of SARS. Cruises have banned
travelers from SARS affected countries to board. A riverboat cruise that
we have booked have banned all travelers from HK and China.

I just arrived back home from a 6 week trip last Monday. I was in the UK,
France, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, and Belgium. I was treated
normally. No one looked at me strange at least from what I could tell nor
did anyone treat me with any kind of disrespect.

It's bad to non-chinese asian because of ugly chink race is spreading
a disease
all over the world. This is the same kind of disease such as Black
Death,
Smallpox all derived from Chink terroritory spreading out all over the
world
with chink race travelling to other country due to their living with
1.3 billiions pig farms. yeah It's not good to Asians. Europoeans
will not really
insulted at any asian or Chink race because they are nice people and
has
a great patient. As we know the Canadian chink resident who
travelled to HOng Kong got infected with SARS and came back to Toranto
and spreaded SARS to
Canadians. Ugly Chink race with so much shitty race is always been
problmetic
to those who is NOT Chinese race such as Korean, Thai, Mongol,
Indonesian.
Chink race we non-Chinese asian must aware and watch out!

Death to Chink race!
Fight against Chink race!
Death to Chink Civilization!
