Spain was quite different from the USA. The spanish government had clearly
acted against the wishes of the spanish population in supporting Bush's war
crime. The opposition party had clearly stated that Spain's association with
the war crime against Iraq put in as a target for terrorism and that should
they be elected, they would pull out of Iraq ASAP.

In the USA, the situation is quite different. Kerry doesn't have the gonads to
call Bush a war criminal and really go for his jugular. He wants "moderate
republicans".

A terrorist act in the USA right now would more likely send americans back
into a deep state of shock and they would turn to their father figure (the
president) and want revenge. Kerry could try to point to how incompetant Bush
was and how Bush had not protected americans from terrorism and made things
worse, but because he had not attacked Bush strongly enough prior to the bomb,
this wouldn't resonnate sufficiently to sway a population in a state of shock.

Therefore a bomb in the USA right now would benefit the republicans.

read about what really happened in 9 11. E.g. Bush helping the
relatives of the main suspect out of USA. Demolishing explosions on
before the 3 towers came down, Absence of mostly Jews in twin towers
that day, attachment under the planes, hiding of the surveillance
videos in pentagon, absence of eye witness in pentagon, past history
of US intelligence in how to get an alibi for attacking other
countries.
People already know. Attack on Iraq. The more it is tried to hide the
more people suspect something fishy. Now people question what attack
CIA plan on US soil to get more alibis. This time the blame is towers
