Default Accomodation in Moscow

My husband and I are going to Moscow for a year. We will need to stay in a hotel for the first few days till we find an appartment.
We will be happy to find any information about hotels that are not very expensive. We are also looking for realiable and not too expensive real estate agencies.
Thanks

The Rossiya is not that bad; great location, ok service, ok room size. Best to book
them through an agency such as Academservice

www.Tourintel.ru

As for more permanent housing, probably best to check with

www.expat.ru

as you can probably find an agent from one of the board members (as you can imagine,
prices are all around the spectrum).

I have stayed in Moscow twice with homestays arranged through the Host Families
Association in Saint Petersburg and can send full details if you contact me by
e-mail. My hosts are very nice and they could help you locate real estate agencies.
