The main beach on Grand Cayman is Seven Mile Beach. It is located
along the western shoreline. There are many excellent spots to swim
along this stretch. You can stay at a wide variety of places that
have excellent beaches in front for swimming. The entire length is
public so you do not have to stay right on the beach to enjoy it.
There is good snorkelling all along Seven Mile Beach, some spots are
better than others. One of the best is right in front of the Cemetary
at the northern end. The width varies, some places are more than 100
feet some as narrow as 10 to 20 feet. The surf is moderate and the
bottom sandy as well. Like others have said, there are no nude
beaches on Grand Cayman. I have not explored very much away from the
beaches but have heard that the Mastic Trail is a nice nature walk.
There are other beaches such as Rum Point, but I have not been to
them. Hope this helps.
