Carry-on luggage restrictions in Bonaire
I'm going to be flying to Bonaire tomorrow, and returning next
Saturday, the 19th. Can anyone tell me what restrictions the Bonaire
authorities are placing on carry-on luggage when leaving the island? I
don't want to bring my camera, for example (which US authorities will
allow me to carry on going to the island), only to not be able to carry
it back on in a week when I'm leaving.
Thanks.

Things have changed very much since gregorinator posted this message.
Bonaire's carry on restrictions will be minor in comparison to basically
no carry-on luggage when boarding in the US. A safe bet is a clear
plastic bag with any medications you may be bringing. Shampoo, suntan
lotion everything else goes with your checked luggage. Just make sure
you pack your shampoo and toiletries in a resealable clear zip lock
bag. That way if they burst it won't be all over your clothes and
luggage. If you just stick with the US plan, you probably won't have
any trouble at all leaving Bonaire.
