Trekking through India (some help)

I would like to go trekking for about a month through India. But quite frankly i
haven't got a single idea where to start. It would be the first time i would go
hiking... and i guess i am really looking for somebody to chat, mail or message with
about trekking and adventuruous travel.
I hope i get some response. Thanks in advance.

I'm adventurous and I'm going to northern India June-July this summer. Some of my
destinations are on. Maybe some inspiration?

You must be crazy than Hell to want to backpack though India. Those thieves will have
you stripped naked before you can get a 100 yard off the train/ship/jet. If you are
young male, you might end up in a Peg House aganst your will. I lived there for 12
years, Had to employ three guards to keep the thieves and kids from c arrying off my
