Fly in Safaris in South Africa Help??
Hello,
I will be living in Cape Town for 6 months in the spring. I have some
people coming to visit me for 10 days. They want to go on a short
safari 3-4 nights. I know there are not alot of parks near cape town
so we were thinking of doing a fly in safari somewhere. Does anyone
have any suggestions on what parks or agents to look under for
something along these lines. Or other ideas. The main problem is that
these people dont want to spend alot of time driving. Any suggestions
would be very much appreciated. Also price isnt a huge factor for them
but should be reasonable. Thanks

2 thoughts.. buy a Getaway magazine when you get
there and look at the dozens of safari camps.. all of
the ones you might consider have web sites, phone
numbers (of course)... do some homework that way.
Here's another: http://www.cbel.com/south_africa/

PS - how is it you will be in Cape Town for such
a long period? Tourist visas now are for 3 months
only.. if that's what you are using, be prepared
to go out to the airport and have it renewed.
They should do it, with just a simple 'please'
from you.
