In your opinion, what country is cheapest to go to Ethiopia or Ghana? This
is not regarding airfare, just packing around for a couple of weeks.
I looked at the conversion rates Ghana 8458cedi/$1US and Ethiopia 8.40
ETB/1US It looks cheaper but is it really? I went to Kenya and Moroc which
was 75SH:10DH. Both countries were cheap for buying things, hotels and
transport. Went to Mali where it was 609XOF/1US and I found it very
expensive however some places were very cheap for food and hotel. I find
West Africa to be more expensive than the east.
Anybody who has been to these places let me know..
thanx in advance

I think Ethiopia is cheaper. I was in Ethiopia back in 2001
(http://home.wanadoo.nl/~schoelink) and everuthing was really cheap.
Remember that you can't use a credit card and i think travellers check could
be a problem. Bring in cash (us dollars) and you would be OK...
