Black "Tourist" in South Africa
I'm from the Caribbean and am of mixed racial heritage (black and
white). I have an upcoming opportunity to travel throughout South
Africa and while I realize it's been 10+ years since apartheid, I am
curious about the reception I'll receive as a visitor to South Africa.
Anyone of African heritage (regardless of country of origin) have any
experiences they can share in this regard?
Thanks,
Rick

Re: Black "Tourist" in South Africa
Hallo Rick,
As a tour operator I travel far and wide all over Southern Africa. I was
this past week in Durban and now I am near Cape Town - this means about 1700
km. No where is there any problem with apartheid. Where ever you go, you'll
meet people of all races mixing freely.
