my wife and i sat for our id card on the 31 oct 2022 mine arrived 10 days later my wifes arrived today 151 days after,so never lose the faith miracles can happen.

I've got an appointment email and have booked online for next week.

Just found out that the physical address on the SEF portal is an old one. Want to change it to new permanent address in Lusbon but dont know how but?

I'm concerned as I understand the Biometric card would be posted on the past address.

Could someone please assist and guide me to change the address?

You can change or update any incorrect info when you attend your appointment.

I'm a bit confused regarding NISS.

Is it required during Biometric appointment?
I've got my NIF registration document but can't see NISS on it.

If its required then where could I get it from?

Any help - greatly appreciated.

No, it's not a requirement.

It's a Social Security number - one of the pieces of info that would be displayed on the card if you had one, but you don't need one unless you're working so it's not a prerequisite to getting this card.
