Hey!

We're finally set up enough on our land that we're ready to plant some veg, what vegetables are good to plant for the winter?

We're in central portugal, the land is north facing but gets a fair amount of sun.

I would suggest going to you local market and see what 'starts' are being sold. Brassicas usually do very well ,swiss chard, sweet potatoes etc

I'm in the far north of the country. Top of the list for me over the next month or so are broad beans, peas, garlic and overwintering onions.
