Default Taviclinic Tavira

I went in to book a non urgent appointment today. None this morning, asked for tomorrow, none! So I said Monday was ok! She said Saturday was available. Do you pay more on Saturday? I was stung once by going on a Bank holiday, when I was new to Tavira. Also how much is an appointment these days?

The standing charge which was 4.50 euros if I remember rightly was scrapped some time ago so there is now no charge to see health professionals on the SNS health service (ie non-private) and similarly if you need blood tests, xrays, etc, the note given to you by your doctor usually is marked ISENTO meaning Exempted - so no charge. However some of the companies doing these tests on behalf of the health service may charge a reduced fee (reduced from the Private or Insurance-covered rates) as the health service does not cover all their costs, but in that case you are always advised what that charge will be and they should be able to offer advice as to where you can go for free tests (eg our local one suggested 24 hour heart monitoring service which was free but that service was unable to give an appointment date, so it was easier to pay up and get it done through the private agency).
Is Taviclinic within the health service, or private?
Hope this helps?

I think it is €60,-
Don't think they charge extra for Saturdays

It's only Friday, earlier I thought you said your appointment was Saturday.

Could it be a text telling you to remember your appointment tomorrow?
