Default Taking a dog on the plane to UK

The quotes my friend is getting are ridiculous. She doesn't like to drive to the boat, anyone found any other airline except Monarch?

British Airways seem to be best for transporting pets

Thanks, Monarch were £1300 and she said BA were even more! It seems a stupid price!

Would this not be a nicer option? Not convinced that dogs appreciate air travel that much and it's a fraction of the cost

Never used either, heard plenty of anecdotes about both. From websearches prior to pet-loving daughter's 21st birthday, I know dogs in flight Spain-UK cost an arm and a leg. I know someone who does pet transport and without even remotely implying they're questionable nor is anyone else in the business, I'd suggest making full use of checking out previous customers for references (or not).
