Share Dealing accounts
Good Afternoon Everyone,
I am wondering if anyone has any experience of opening and operating a share dealing account here in Portugal to trade EU & US stocks and ETFs. I am from the UK where online trading accounts with no maintenance fees and nominal commissions abound, and I am looking for something along similar lines. Thanks in advance to any one who replies.

You'll see a few ideas on the Portuguese Finance Tips thread, but there's a reasonable choice, especially if by "in Portugal" you really mean "in the eurozone"

Read up on the tax position, it can get a little complicated depending on what and where you want to trade, nothing insurmountable, just a bit fiddly
