Room rental
I've been asked by a friend the following.
If you rented a room in your home, would you need a licence agreement. If so, how much would the licence cost.
Also, is there any re-connection fee for has, water and electricity?
I haven't got a clue and am hoping some-one here could help out.
Thank you.

Re: Room rental
The whole thing about rentals & licence etc strikes me as a complete super mega bugly stuff up of immense proportions....... I've asked no end of people from tourism board officials to accountants to landlords and everyone gives me a different answer but my guess is that you would need an alogamento locale (sp?) licence and that might then mean they have to pay not only tax on the income but also possibly also pay a social security payment each and every month whether they have a paying tenant in or not.
The obvious alternative springs to mind.
