Road bikes in Tavira
Hi, continuing the questions about bicycles, does anyone know whether any of the bike shops in Tavira rent out road bikes? If so, do you know whether they are any good, how much they cost, do you need your own pedals etc? Thanks.

Given that no-one replied, I might be posting this for my own benefit only...
Anyway, I think Casa Abilio is the answer. The flier (link attached) doesn't show it, but they rent road bikes - ciclissimo I think they are called - from around €14 a day reducing to around €8 a day if you rent for a week.

Alternatively, if you generally google algarve road bikes you will find companies that rent all across the algarve and will drop off to you but I think they were more expensive.
Happy cycling.

Yes, I think you have answered your own question. We have a couple of cross bikes and when we need stuff fixed we use Casa Abilio. We have found them to be very good. Nice guy as well that speaks pretty good english and he does not ripe you off.

If you´re willing to travel a short distance to Monte Gordo there´s quite a few places there for bike rentals and they seem to charge very low rates.
