It really is lovely
to chat to people on here
and then meet them and then have a lovely lovely day
So to all of you who are a bit worried about meeting new people, just do it
You learn new stuff, hear about places you would like to go and also the downsides/upsides of moving to a particular area.
So a huge thank you to roadislandred and houghfamily for a lovely day today - even though the train was late

No, thank you. I/we had a great day, seeing all that Fuzeta has to offer. Next time you are in Tavira, please contact us for a chat over lunch in one of the many restaurants Tavira has to offer. Also anyone out there who would like a guided tour of Tavira, please contact me. Fun was had by all. Hope to see you again shortly.

Sounds like you are very lucky in the Eastern Algarve Fuzetajan…
I would have thought Lagos could rustle up quite a few ex-pats but judging by the forum most people who post are living over your way….
Having been an ex-pat for over 30 yrs I know what an important part meeting others in similar situations can play in helping people to settle and even to integrate into the host countries…well done you
