Got given (great Inglish innit) 2 shopping bags of goodies last night. One with lemons the size of footballs the other 3 huge cabbages. Gonna make soup with cabbage today. Also a bag of lettuces on the way and another guy giving me some wine.

No, not so cold last night,had the oil rad on in the lounge but it didnt seem so bad

The wind here was ripping through me and even in the cafe I was freezing so I went home early and straight to bed after a hot toddy of course.

I've only just come back on line as we've had a pretty violent thunderstorm. Switched the house power off at the mains and disconnected pc.:curse:
Never in my life have I seen weather like this...anywhere in the world that I've lived.
The locals were praying for rain in December and now it's ruining some of their things.
Thank God I'm going to work next week.

If it doesnt ease up I'll let someone else get soaked by ordering a pizza to be delivered. I have a new 5l cask of wine so a night in could be fun.
