I only have 6 small pine trees, but destroyed three nests in early December.
Then in late January I found another nest and thought I must have missed it in December.
Then I found another..... so either I was very remiss in my December checks, or it backs up that research.

Pesky B's I have just had tree surgeons in to trim the huge pines in my garden Do it yearly and always ask them to check. Fingers crossed we don't have any. Can be lethal to dogs if ingested . Have seen them ' processing' in a small park on the Dunes Dorados estate near Quinta da Lago ( Almancil ) Hope the gardeners saw them
