Hi, can someone advise on how to get my prescriptions to PT. I also have to have regular blood tests. As a pensioner these cost me nothing in the UK. Who do I have to contact first? Thanks in advance,
Chris

If the op is planning to become resident then they should apply for the S1 form which as a pensioner will give them the same access to health services as a Portuguese national.

Yes. If a pensioner in UK (or other EU State) there is provision for health care on the same basis as a local when you settle.
I suggested the EHIC as a temporary expedient until they become residents.

I have my EHIC, & an exemption certificate. If i need anything on holiday, is the certificate valid? ( not a tight-wad, just asking out of curiosity ).
