People in France are having the same "problem" Basically it is down to our old friend Brexit in that some UK providers are now only providing EU roaming if it is clear that the phone is temporarily in the EU eg on holiday but if there is a history of phone usage indicating that the user is permanently in the EU then the phone may be disconnected or calls restricted Normally you would an email/text/call about this before it happens
