Re: mshlgw
Firstly I don't wish to appear rude to anyone, but I posted what I thought a perfectly reasonable request for information (albeit I cocked the header up!) about moving to Portugal only to receive one useful post and three pages of inane chatter amongst yourselves. This seems to happen on practically every thread, that it degenerates into useless chit chat. I don't want to appear a miserable old git, but surely these threads are normally from people requesting help so those who just want a private chat should use something like facebook or one of the other sites of such ilk.

This just goes to prove the point of suffering the banter and get good links to your question, rather than a link to a Czech business to business search engine from a newbie spammer.
Threads do go off track, but usually after the OP has got their answers, it happens because most of the forums are like families.
Persevere, I am sure you will enjoy the forum.

Hi, my friend moved over in Feb 07 and used Overs, she moved from Berkshire to Burgau, Algarve.
Have no idea what they paid I'm afraid, all I know is that they were a lot cheaper than AIM.

We have recently shipped freight from the UK to Tavira and used Algarve Removals. They were very professional and very quick. Door to Door in less than a week. They wrap freight as well so that goods don't get damaged.
