I don't know if you have a Comsume supermarket in Portugal but they sell in the baby section a baby cologne called NENUCO, put it in a spray bottle & spray it all over you. It is made by Reckitt.

You can buy the netting in most supermarkets. We made frames using trunking and stuck them on the outside of the windows. A bit cheap and cheerful but does the trick.

Avon "Skin so soft" gets great reports as a midge repellent here in Scotland. It is supposed to be good for mossies as well. Google it. Can be bought on Ebay.

I have tried them all - Vit B tablets, Avon, etc even stuff from Chemist has probs keeping them away from me! Last week I bought a new anti midge bangle - smelt terrible for 24 hrs even I would not go near it! after that back to normal! I must tell new readers that you do build up some sort on small resistance over a few years and do not react quite as badly!!!
