I've started this thread several times and been distracted, let's see if I can complete it this time.

First of all I would like to say hello to everyone from the uk who have managed to get out of the uk for a better life elsewhere. I am now looking to do the same with my family and looking favorably at Portugal. I am hoping that any of you already living there could advise me of the work and jobs available to expats. I have a wide variety of skills to put to good use, although my main trade is industrial sound reinforcement, I have a wide range of property maintenance skills that are always useable.

I would be greatful to hear from anyone with info and also as a contact for when we visit for a holiday later this year.

I would seriously recommend looking at some past threads if you haven't already.

Emplyment....well, there's none really(!) but it interests me that you work in - if that means noise proofing, you should read online about the "bar wars" in Lagos and Faro, there may be some work just for you!
