Hello!
When I moved to the UK two years ago I used this company: http://www.mudatudo.com
They were real professional, it's a small company and the drivers are mostly British ex-pats living in central Portugal. They also had the best prices, by far. If I need to move things around again, I will definitely contact them, so, I do recommend them.
Cheers,
AP

I too can recommend mudatudo. They charge 100 euros per cu metre. We were delighted with their service. They picked it up on the day arranged and delivered promptly and efficiently.

the cheapest way to do it is to hire a van yourself and hire a container and load it yourself and then have it shipped, total cost should be around 1.5k for a three bed house, good luck

€100 per cubic metre is extortion surely? Ok for a small load I guess.
We used Direct Transport, we moved over 600m3 and it cost about £1,800.

Sorry not sure where I've got my figures from, it was about 25m3 / 883 ft3!!
Still at the other carrier's rate that would work out as €2,500 and I know we definitely didn't pay that much
