Hi All,
I bought two bikes from Modelo last summer for €25 euros each. I really got exactly what I paid for and enjoyed the pioneering spirit of taking off for a ride and not knowing which bike might break first and which of us would have to walk most of the way home,if we could not fix it roadside or get help from the locals. They too were amused by the loud clicking and clonking noises they made, the fact the pedal cranks weren't quite circular, or particularly well fixed on, etc.
I intend to gift these bikes to others by leaving them bythe bins, but need to find replacements. I have looked on buy and sell and a few other places. Anyone near tavira that has a couple fo decent mountain bikes they have tired off?

We have one, cost €300, it's German, our neighbour wanted us to take it to the auction for him, but if you want to come and see it p.m. me.

It's probably worth looking in the auction in Tavira, it's the sort of thing that comes up quite often.

Don't know if you're stretching to new, but there's a shop called bikeland on the Quatro Estradas to Boliquieme stretch of 125.
We got 2 good'uns for 240 last year and the guy gives good advice (such as "buy a bike").
