Looking for quinta(horses) long term rent Fundao
Ola,
We are dutch, have been living in Germany for 8 years. We have lived in Portugal and we are homesick for Portugal and love to go back.
Our farmhouse is for sale but because of the crisis we rented it out for 1 or 2 years.
So we are looking for a quinta to rent/lease(!) in the region Fundao (Castelo Branco).
What we are looking for:
- Preferably region Fundão.
- very quiet remote area
- min. 2 Ha, prefer more, not completely flat.
- mountain views.
- water (for our horses)
- Preferably a small house but not necessary.
- Preferably electricity.
- possibility for internet (3G or DSL).
- no neighbours.
- no tar-road close.
- no mid- or high voltage posts .
- reasonable price.
Please note that when a property does not fully apply to the above requirements, please show it and we can discus it and see if it will fit.
Initially we prefer to rent a property for 2 years.
After this period we would like to buy a quinta.
We hope to visit Portugal in September to search for properties. We are planning to move to Portugal in October.

Thank you for all the info and pictures.
Your house is really beautiful and enough land and a swimming pool, lovely!!!!
For us to expensive, we search in the lower price range, but for somebody who wants a really good and very nice luxury house it's perfect!

In the meanwhile we sold our house
We are looking for a property (end of march) we can rent for a while in the Fundao region or neighborhood Leiria-Obidos or Odemira, so more choice at the moment!
We need 1a2 ha land for 4 horses, a quiet place, see the list above.
