Just taken the train from the Orients to Tunes.. where we were picked up by the excellent VIP taxi service (going to Luz)...
The only comments I would add is that if you have more than one piece of luggage,and aren't either young or strong , it can be a bit of a struggle .. Very steep steps up to the train ,very few and small.floor compartments to take a suitcase.. or you have to heave them up onto racks.. As you are given numbered seats you may be placed far away from your luggage...maybe not ideal in summer months.with lots of tourists where you can't keep an eye on them.Another struggle to manoeuvre them off the train (we had three) with people trying to get off and on at the same time..
Would also suggest you look for the 'elavadprs ' lifts at the stations to go up and down with heavy luggage.. not always obvious.. Circular silver and glass objects.not marked .
Otherwise a very comfortable journey .Alfa pendalo being the fast non stop train

I recently took the bus from Armação (my new apartment is right next to the station) -Albufeira- Sete Rios Lisbon. Now I want to go back in a few weeks but I can't find the schedules.
