Can anyone tell me what to use to fill, in to repair a indside wall, before repainting

If you mean something like Polyfilla then there is some similar stuff by Triunfante - it's known as 'Massa de Reparação'.

I presume this would be fine for small filling in areas, but I also need to do larger areas, would I use the same.

If it's a large crack it will need opening i.e. removing all loose bits around the crack then filling with whatever the existing finish is...polyfilla/plaster if the wall is plastered and a sand/cement mix if it's outside render

Polyfilla stuff is ok for normal cracks but remember it will dry smooth so it depends how the wall is finished. If it's a rough finish it will be quite obvious.

If it's big holes you are trying to fill it is better - and cheaper to use a mix of 4 parts sand to 1 part cement mixed with water to the consistency of a stiff paste. Do it in two or three coats - the first one done by flicking small blobs of the mortar mix onto the wall so they stick. When that is done you should have no problem building it up in layers of 2 or 3 cm. Oh yes - get rid of any dust and and moisten the wall before you start. Good luck

If you don't need a large quantity some of the big DIY stores like Maxmat and Aki sell bags of dry ready mixed stuff that just need water added.

It goes by various names, sometimes massa (same as the name for pasta) sometimes argamassa, but look around in the sand/cement section and you're sure to find it. Mix it to a consistency where you can make peaks that don't slump and then fling it against the wall. Have fun
