My Sister has just returned home after a villa rental in Albufeira. There was no meet and greet. There was a key safe on the outside wall and they were given a code to open the safe. On leaving they returned the keys to the safe. Inside the house there were written instructions on all appliances and dos and don'ts. They were also given a phone number in case of emergencies, which they never used.
P.S. They were also given very detailed directions to the villa from the airport

Then being available in case something breaks or they need advice/help. Is this service worth 15% of rental fee or even 10%? Just curious....
If you can get all of that for 15 % then bite their hands off.
Charges we know off depend on the number of guests, the times of arrival for meet and greet, out of hours visits or more than agreed numbers of call outs, unexpectedly high linen and towel laundry etc etc.
If you want a reliable premium service then expect to pay for it.

You missed out 'lost key's' setting alarms off at 3am when drunk.falling into swimming pools when drunk, crashing into porch pillar with car when drunk.. All of which the neighbouring rentals have had to put up with in the last year. Every time the season ends his builders move in to tackle the endless repairs. It's a mugs game. I admire all those who do it.

We did it for a couple of years then soon gave up with it (Tavira based girl did all the letting / cleaning stuff etc, it was 20% at the time plus Owners direct fees etc) but to be honest couldn't be bothered with it after the first couple of seasons.
