Default Helium pump for balloons

Hi all

My daughter is bringing my disabled granddaughter to Portimao for her birthday and she needs a Helium pump to blow balloons up. Does anybody know where to get a Helium pump from.

Thanks

Helium comes in pressurised Gas Bottles from a specialist gas company. Not sure if you need any special licensing to buy it but it's certainly available from Gasin so they would be a good starting point. They do a balloon filling valve too

There's a place down Faro way called something like "creativecandiesgifts" which used to do the ballons so may be able to help. As helium is non-toxic non-flammable, inert and lighter than air there should be few regulations covering it. Also it's only source is underground "deposits" and when it escapes confinement from your balloon it wafts upwards and upwards then escapes from the earth's gravity to wander the universe - our old MRI scanner used loads of it. Good Luck

That gasin company website appears to allow internet order of an oxygen cylinder; I'll have to try that.

My supplier in Portimao stopped handling industrial gas and the company wrote to me that I can go to Faro for it now; 100km from me.
