Default Golf Courses in Central Portugal ??

Does anyone know of any Courses to be built in Central Portugal. I don't mean the Silver Coast...they have enough, but the middle ie Tomar, Coimbra etc.

There is a rumour about one being built near Tomar but we can't find any details...and t could just be a rumour

With reference to Tomar...sometime late in 2008, initial plannng permission was given for the new "Aqueduto dos Pegões" 140 hectare golf course.

By all accounts, it'll be at least a couple of years before it's completed.

As you probably know, there is the established "Golden Eagle Golf and Country Club" near Rio Maior.

The proposed "Aqueduto dos Pegões Golf course" is to be roughly 4 km's North-West of Tomar, in the vale da Ribeira dos Pegões. it will be adjacent to the aquaduct.

There's not an awful lot of info about it at the moment but here's a link that'll maybe give you an idea of it's location:
