It is my understanding GLS parcels go missing if they are sent via Royal Mail A) Registered, ie, require a signature, and/or B) weigh over 2 kilos. Regular RM post comes directly through, got several parcels this past week to my PO box. I often buy cosmetics (creams, cleansers, etc, quite heavy at times) from Bulgaria and they arrive speedily but by their own postal service. I don't know about Hungary .... but give it a try and let us know.

In my experience, only standard letters come straight through the postal systems. Even small parcels less than 2 kg seem to go through GLS when posted in the UK.

It seems to that all the courier companies (in my area at least) have had a kick up the jacksie and have suddenly improved their customer service dramatically.

We've had deliveries from DHL, Chronopost & SEUR this week & all arrived bang on time, completely undamaged & all called to confirm delivery time.................... The Chronopost guy even called a number in the UK to confirm they'd delivered to me.

I've never had a problem with DHL, Chronopost and SEUR. They have always phoned me on the day of delivery to find out how to get to my house.

Sorry Bill, I have to disagree with you here. If the Seller is using RM, I specifically ensure they are sent Regular service and have even split orders (from a candy company in Wales) to ensure the order is under 2 kilos ... even though the postage is only £4,08 irrespective of weight, I don't want it to get into the hands of GLS. Daft I know, but at least my goodies will go to my PO Box!

Two Pandora charms weigh less than 2 kg but they did not stay in the hands of the regular postal service. Unfortunately, my daughter did not send me the tracking reference so I could not challenge GLS on this occasion.

Bill, if it had a tracking reference, which I would assume it would have due to VALUE, that would require a signature irrespective of weight. A) Signature and/or B) Over 2 Kilos.

They really are incompetent
Just 10 min's ago , there driver called & I met him in front off the Church
The Parcel was a product I bought 10 days ago !!!!
I asked where the older parcel was , gave him the Ref Nº & he replied
"Still in our warehouse"
Bloody joke off a company !!!!

At least you got hold of an actual driver with an actual parcel. Maybe you have a better than average chance of receiving the other one as well
I wonder if we put all our cases together we would have one for the GNR fraud squad to investigate ?

All I can say is that we are an exceptionally patient and trusting lot..It is abundantly clear to me after 7 yrs that this company is fraud.Having visited its offices and warehouse I now know it is..... what does it take ?
