CentralPortugal is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Generator maintinance.

Hi everyone — can anyone recommend a reliable company or technician in Central Portugal for maintenance of an off-grid solar + generator system?

It’s a small setup (solar panels, battery, inverter, and diesel generator) installed about a year ago and currently working well — just looking for annual servicing and ongoing support.

Any suggestions or experiences would be much appreciated. Thanks.

No maintenance required for solar. It just keeps working without having to do anything.

generator, oil and filters when you think it needs it.

Job done.

Don't over complicate things

We used to install/service solar on industrial places and the annual checks were on the structure checking that the fittings were tight and nothing broken, the electrical cables and connectors (visual check) were not cracked or broken (same sort as PAT test visual check) and then a clean of the panel fronts as dust etc. can dramatically reduce their efficiency. There was usually a "log book" with a few numbers like total power produced to be filled in. When new the generator should have had manual/log book stating when and what a service should include.
