FUEL PRICES TAVIRA
A heads up to those who live in and around the Tavira area. The petrol station adjacent to the new Tavira Plaza has opened for business and their prices are very good. It could save some of you a trip to Spain. The prices are as follows:
Diesel 0.879 cents per ltr
Bio diesel (orange pump) 0.849 cents per ltr
Unleaded95 €1.009 per ltr
unleaded98 €1.074 per ltr
Most new cars will take the Bio diesel which is a saving.
Directions (for those who don't know the area). From the EN125 at the Mini Preco roundabout go under the railway bridge past the Tavira Plaza on your right and at the r/about turn right towards town. At the end of the building works on your right (set back a bit) is the petrol station. If you get as far as Casa Ambacas shed you have missed it. Coming the other way, from the BP petrol station head towards Casa Ambacas on your left and the established petrol station with car wash on your right, then just before the new Plaza build on your left is the petrol station.

But we paid €0,75 in Carrefour for 95 petrol, so Spain still has the edge for us.
